Song Audios, Lyrics

I've posted these audios of a couple of songs I wrote in hopes they might bless a brother going through a hard time.....

Greetings my brothers and sisters in freedom
I’m writing to you from a dark prison cell
With one trembling hand I hold on to my Bible
And with the other my story I tell

I sing freedom for all my captors
Freedom, for those trapped in sin
I sing freedom for every nation
I sing for freedom in this cell that I’m in

Freedom’s not something my government gave me
Freedom was given from calvary’s tower
Freedom from fear and the lies that it teaches
Freedom to choose God and live in His power

I thought this might happen if I followed Jesus
I thought a cross might await for me too
Not up to me if my old life’s in pieces
This is the work that now I’m called to do

To sing freedom for all my captors
Freedom, for those trapped in sin
I sing freedom for every nation
I sing that I’m free in this cell that I’m in
Praise God I’m free in this cell that I’m in
Jesus is with me in this cell that I’m in

You are not alone

Suffering saint locked in a cell
Fearful with no-one to tell
Brothers, sisters far away
Live without you day by day
But you are not alone
We are praying with you
You are not alone
Our Father hears our cries
There’s no hole so deep
That God is not here with us
Tho evil men surround you
You are not alone

Any cell you occupy
Holy praise will sanctify
Christ who sat in Herod’s jail
Now Sits with you, won’t let you fail
You are not alone
We are praying with you
You are not alone
Our Father hears our cries
There’s no hole so deep
That God is not here with us
Like Joseph left in Egypt
Elijah in his dark cave
Like Paul in Roman prisons
You are not alone
